About Dr. Pye

Dr. Pameté Yambou Emmanuel (Pye) conducted his PhD study in the Power Sources Group of Poznan University of Technology (Poland) starting from 2017 when he has been awarded the MAESTRO PhD Stipend funded by the Polish National Science Centre (CNC). Previously, he was a student at the University of Yaoundé 1 (Cameroon), where he received his B.Sc. in Chemistry (2014) and M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry (2016).
He graduated on October 26th, 2021 with a PhD in Electrochemical Energy Storage Systems. His PhD research activities were devoted to chemical and electrochemical applications of carbon materials, with special attention to the development of nano-carbons with controlled porosity and surface functionality for low-temperature applications to energy conversion/storage and environment protection.
His main investigated topics are supercapacitors and electrochemical hydrogen storage, including but not limited to chemical and electrochemical modification of carbon surfaces for energy storage and conversion systems.

He is currently a member of the:

- International Society of Electrochemistry (ISE),
- International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC).
